Asking your readers a question is an easy way to get their attention.
Because of our limbic reward system.
When we feel a sense of curiosity, our limbic reward system is activated and dopamine is released.
Simply because of that, we want to go further and read the rest of the introduction.
3. Use a Shocking Quote
A great way to bring people to read your whole article introduction is to start with a shocking quote.
For example, let’s say you write an article about personal development or something similar.
You can use a quote like this that totally surprises the reader:
“Every problem is a gift—without problems we would not grow.” –Tony Robbins
This quote will surprise your readers because obviously, nobody thinks that a problem is a gift.
When your visitors read something like this, they want to know more, and finally, they will read the rest of your introduction.

If you remind people that they will probably fail if they don't consider the things you are going to teach them, they are willing to read the rest of your introduction.

What I did here was to tell the reader that he will not get more reviews on Amazon unless he understands what motivates customers to leave positive feedback - which is actually true.
7. Use the "AIDA" Formula
Chances are high that you’ve heard of AIDA. It’s a famous marketing formula.
Here’s what AIDA stands for:
First of all, you have to get the attention of your readers. We've already talked about how to do that - by creating an engaging opening line.
However, there are many more strategies. For example, you can use the fear of failure, which we covered above, to get your reader's attention.
No matter which strategy you use, the first thing to do is to get your reader's attention.
Then, there is interest. Interest results from attention. For example, you can tell the reader about a solution to his problem.
Will he be interested? Sure, he will - everyone is interested in the solution to his problem.
When it comes to desire, one thing is extremely important. At this stage, the reader has to decide whether or not he will read your article.
So what do you have to do here?
Quite simply, you need to show the reader all the benefits he can get from reading your article.
For example, if you write a blog post about growth hacking strategies. Then you could tell the reader that he can grow his audience three times faster.
Finally, what about action?
There are two ways to implement action in your blog posts. First, you can implement a call to action by telling your reader to take a pen and take notes while reading the rest of your article. Or you can tell him to read the article word for word because the information you give is really important.
The other way is to implement it at the end of your article. This way you can tell the reader to subscribe to your newsletter, buy a certain product, and so on...
